I mean, last year was poor, but this year threatens to be even worse.
NO Darlington last month, no Texas or Talladega this month, and only
about an hour from Martinsville, so I am led to believe from the
magazines.

It's enough to make you want to watch F1 for crying out loud.

At least they showed Bristol live all the way and even had a
commentator to fill-in every time there was a commercial break. Maybe
they will start showing it more once all the winter-sports are gone,
though I don't think the soccer tournament next summer is going to
help.

How ironic. I'm in the US, and I *want* to watch F1.
I don't get Speedvision, so I'm out of luck. ESPN2 had F1 last year.
Speedvision also has the motocross GP's, which I'd love to see.

Heh. I don't even have satellite/cable, so you're getting more Nascar than
me. But F1? I watched the Brazilian highlights on Sunday night. I was
confused for about an hour... thought the race was live. Then I realised
there *were* no highlights. In fact the best moments were the Wurtz
moments :-) <arf, arf>

Sky Sports appear to be covering Talladega at the end of the month,
and they will presumably still cover the Brickyard, The Winston and
C***te races along with Indy as they did last year. Their Daytona
coverage in Feb was fairly good.

Eurosports coverage is certainly better than nowt at all but they are
the most un-professional TV station I know of in the way they mix
commentaries and drop to commercials without warning.
