It "says" it supports:

Support for several APIs, including
   ?DirectX from Microsoft
   ?BRrender from Argonaut
   ?Renderware from Criterion

Is this what is necessary to run "Rendition" mode???

Thanks!
Ray

Nope.  What's needed is a card that uses the Rendition Verite chip:

Canopus Total3D
Creative Labs 3D Blaster PCI
Intergraph Intense3D 100
Sierra Screamin3D

Hello,
Is there anyway possible to get a hack to use the nice beautiful rendition
modes with good 3d card? Because I am a owner of a new Diamond Sleath 3D
3000 with 4mb of VRAM. Theres got to be somehow to stop the computer
program from looking for the chip, only make its graphics better. If
anything like that happens, I'd like to know!

Unfortunately you don't have a good 3D card.  The Virge cards are fine
2D cards, but they pretty much blow as far as 3D is concerned.  It
really doesn't matter as you need the Verite chip's 3D features to give
you the enhanced graphics.  Even if it was possible to create a
software emulator to mimic a Rendition card, it would be a slideshow.

That "sleath" card had me laughing for while ;-)
No, like Eric said, emulating, would just be moving calculation from the
CPU to the CPU. Alpha blending would kill a P400..... ;-)
