New to Group. Need Advice.

Hi Folks,
I'm new to this group. I'm a big NASCAR Fan, but I haven't the bucks yet
fro NASCAR2 or even a steering wheel and pedals. I'm saving up though.
Anyway, I was in Costco yesterday and saw the Thrustmaster Wheel for $52
(it comes with some road & track sim program). Does anybody have this?
Second, I was at our local re-resale shop and picked up Papyrus IndyCar
Racing (1996) for $5. Is there a speceficic group for this program?
If not can somebody help me with the setups? I'm using my keyboard and I
can barely handle Michigan. Any advice on keyboard control choices.
Thanks alot in advance. Please email me if you can. I'll check the group
too. Any help will be appreciated.
Aloha, Henry

 Henry,
Dude are you in for a heck of alot of fun. I bought the TM Grand
Prix 1 wheel at Costco also for fifty bucks. At this price it's a steal.
I used to play Nascar2, Indycar2, and Grand Prix2 with my joystick, the
wheel makes it a whole new ballgame. Welcome to the ranks of Sim-racing!

    All the best, Media Madman

I agree!  I used to use the keyboard before I got my T2 last Christmas
and it makes a world of difference!  Especially on a track like
Michigan where it pays to be smooth, you'll go a lot faster there
using a T2 instead of the keyboard!  The only problem with the T2 is
the accelerator springs breaking occasionally!  Once you start sim
racing you're hooked!
