You have to be more gentle Marcus :-))
You good quality means lotsa bucks and bad quality means less bucks with at
one exception : TM
which is bad quality and lotsa bucks.
I just bought a wheel with pedals called Dexxa and I have to say the wheel
is very good indeed.
Especially the pedals they are brilliant! almost like a real car.
It's a very low budget wheel and isn't supposed to be the quality of a TSW
or similar but it's just a bargin!
I bought TWO of them last week!. The wheel is a T2 clone but looks pretty
good and is very easy to maintain.
By the way I have had a TM GP1 for 3 years now and cleaned the pots maybe 15
times but it still works great
after some maintenance. the only thing is the brake spring which broke but I
just made a new one from some
junk I had home. Anyway the Dexxa wheel I have at least is very presise in
GPL and it's fantastic to drive with.
The dexxa is a non FF wheel but that doesn't matter in GPL right :-). I also
have to mention that I have done a modification to the Dexxa to make it a
bit harder to turn and it turned out to be much more driveable after that.
Myself I'm not gonna buy a FF wheel until they manage to make one with GOOD!
pedals.
At least here in Norway the Dexxa is 1/3 of the prize of a T2! so it's the
choice forme until some great FF wheel
comes up. Other wheels you can buy which is more expensive is TSW , ACT LAB
and Logitech Wingman Formula. But for me none of them have both a great
wheel and great pedals.
Hope some of this is useful for you :-)
Good luck!
