The Forging Posts - Apology

by Mark Fiel » Tue, 13 Aug 1996 04:00:00

For those of you who didn't pay attention to my "Apology - Please Read" post,  please
read this post.  I know a lot of you didn't read it,  because you're still arguing
about the forging.  Look,  I know who's the Forging "Billy Yannoh (or whatever)" poster,  I also know who
has been playing as "Crest Toothpaste (or something)"
Look,  I know who's out there and wants to destroy R.A.S. for good.
It's my college roommate Travis Burgess who's been acting like "Billy Yannoh" and
"Crest Toothpaste."  He used the Zippo WWW Site to forge his posts,  to see what I mean,  go
to this URL:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
I'm very sorry for all the forging that my roommate has done.  I found this out when
I spoke to my friend Jeff,  who also uses Internet services.  Travis told him about it.
I'm sorry,  please forgive me.....
I've put a password on the computer so he shouldn't be able to get any more Forging
posts in this group.

a)  Put them in the Kill Files
b)  Ignore the posts
c)  No replies to the posts
d)  Stop the insults

Also,  I'm the Freedom Fighter you all are talking about.  I'm very sorry to people
outside of the U.S.A. because of my remark:
"Americans have the right to speak their mind"
What I really mean is that EVERYONE has the right to speak their mind in this group.
I'm sorry if you feel offended.  Please forgive me for this also.

Please forgive me everyone....
I don't want R.A.S. to die,  I feel very devoted to this group.  I want this whole
ordeal to be over.

Mark

Yes,  I back you up because I know how it feels to be totally humiliated.
I've decided to get a PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) signature so everyone will know
who's who (me or Travis,  the roommate)

Yes,  I'm the one who's doing Florida Oranges.  Expect a release in Oct.
Beta Testers will get Beta 1 this week.
