Guys, whats would you recommend for potentiometers for the ECCI4000 and the
TWS2 Stock. I'd prefer to use Digi-key since I have an account with them.
Price is not an issue.

I use spectrol in my TSW Mike, been in unit for over a year, spray them with
Tuner Cleaner every once in a while, but no spikes or inconsistencies
ever......so far

Mike,

If some one replies directly to you regarding recommendations for your CDS4000,
would you mind posting here?  I'm interested in trying something other than the
stock pots.

Thx,

Bob

It is a military spec part, marketing claims aside they all
perform at about the same level.  I myself replaced the
stock ECCI CDS4000 pots with Clarostat #RV4NAYSD104A,
no problems so far and quite a bit cheaper than ordering
them from ECCI.

After doing some research and talking to a few engineers in the electronics
field I have decided to try the pots listed below.

CT2357-ND  POT 100K OHM 2W CERMET

I hadn't opened my unit yet to see what was in the wheel but when I did I
was surprised to see that it was a Clarostat #RV4NAYSD104A. Thats a $5 pot
and was also used now by TSW in the TWS2 Stock that I purchased this year.
The pot in my ECCI lasted over 2 years while the ones in the TSW only lasted
less than 6 months under casual use.
