Powerslide pedal problems

by Mark Clarkso » Fri, 19 May 2000 04:00:00

Hi, all.  I love Dirt Track Racing and just got Powerslide which is way
cool  but ...

It will *not* let me use my pedals.  It insists on assigning them
backwards.  Does anyone have this problem, or know what  I can do to get
the thing working again?

Thanks so much

Damn! I've patched the game up, and I'm 99.9% sure I'm the very most current
on DX7.  I'm running W95, so I know it's not a W98 problem on my end.

Did the original poster say he had win98, or was this a widely known problem?
Mine worked right out of the box, but I'm running win95...

I was certain that was it, you know, cos it happened to me (the more I think
of it, the more I'm certain it was a DX7 problem). Anyway, with the new
patch you get a load of command line options...try fiddling with those (the
no poll interrupt seems to be a popular choice), or failing that get hold of
Aaron Foo at Ratbag - he/they seem to be willing to bend over backwards to
help people. Excellent customer service.
