NHeat - How do you get more speed at Daytona?

Ok, ok, I know NHeat is so out of date.  I'm off to buy NR2003 as soon as it
gets here but I'm in a small town in Canada, so see above for our problems.

Any way it probably applies to NR too.  How do you get more speed at Daytona
(and Talladega).  I know to flatten the spoiler and put as much tape as
possible but beyond that, what RPM's should I be turning and is there any
tuning techniques to find more speed?

TIA

ps. Does NR2003 have 13.5 gallon fuel cells for the plate races?

They are restrictor plate tracks and your horsepower is down by like 40%.

It's all about Aero and not losing speed in the corners.

You really shouldn't be able to adjust the spoiler.  That is locked down by
Nascar at these two tracks.

I haven't played NHeat in a long time, so I can't get into setup specifics.

<7000RPMs.  Try softening the rear end of the car up to get the rear end to
squat more, getting the spoiler out of the wind (does anyone actually remember
those days at the plate tracks before the mandated rear suspension?).

13.0 gallon fuel cells, yes.

Wow, I forgot about that 13 gallon fuel thing :)

I don't know, does this mean that the typical 10% run online is going to
require a fuel stop?  I haven't made it through a race online yet without
getting punted so I don't know...

Does this mean TWO stops for our 40% RASCAR races?

Interesting :)
