Winter starts December 21...is N4 really going to miss Christmas release?
We know it won't make its release date as scheduled now, so????

Where have you read such a release date?  Most if not every report from E3
specifically said that Nascar Racing 4 would be released before the end of
1999, probably around October.

As far as I know it's scheduled for November 2000...Where did you find the
other release date?

He didn't find another release date.  He misinterpreted something he read.  Every
report I've seen said November 2000 - will be in stores for Christmas.

Well... if you go to http://www.bhmotorsports.com/ and read Jure's preview
there are two specific places where he states a later release date than
October or November.  The first reference is under the "Fact Sheet" section
where he states a release date of Christmas 2000.  Then just below that is
a screenshot of the Press Release.  Click on the side with text and you'll
find on the left side just below the Nascar Racing 4 logo a release date of
Winter 2000.

Maybe they're advertising the release date as such in case of delays?

I've also heard conflicting reports of when the N4 demo will be released.
I've heard end of June and end of July.

I tend to believe a demo at the end of July and a release just before
Christmas.  Maybe someone from Papy (Eric? Shawn?) will chime in and clear
this up?

Jure was had too much to drink.  He didn't even remember June or July for the
release of the demo.  Hey - I appreciate all his work at BHM, and not slamming
him at all, just don't take the Christmas quote too seriously.

As far as the press release is concerned - I would bet they were not being
literal regarding the day winter starts or fall ends.  Papy should release N4 in
time for all the good boys and girls to get it in their stockings...

  To a marketer, a product developer, a businessman and the informed
buying
public, those two dates are exactly the same.  Any time just before New
Years
qualifies as Winter 2000.  November & December both can be referred to
as
Winter quarter 2000.  So by reading the fact sheet and the sidebar info,
we may make a safe guess of either just BEFORE Thanksgiving or less than
two weeks before Xmas.

 Xmas tweeking AI speeds, playing with graphic options, tweeking
mulitplayer
code etc...) (hopefully fully debugging)
