After buying a new PII system I still have a P233, it's now part of a small
four computer LAN. I want to race GPL against my friend badly over the LAN,
but there are no 3D card and no steering wheel in the old system, since I've
connected them to my new system.
What would your advice be on a low cost (but reasonable performance) wheel
and 3D card?
The Formula One Sprint seems reasonably good but I am not sure, could
anybody give me some advice?

Furthermore I want install a second card next to my Monster II to run it in
SLI-mode. I own the 8 MB version, can I use a 12MB version to run it in SLI?

The Formula 1 Sprint is probably the best low priced wheel you will
find.  However, I am not too keen on the pedals, but the flippers on the
back of the wheel can be used for brake and gas ala the Thrustmaster
GP1.

If all you really want to do is run GPL, pick up a Diamond Stealth II S220
(not G460) version....it isn't particularly good in other games, but we're
talking 36 fps in almost all situations but sitting in the pits with 19
other cars...plus, it's CHEAP.

If you can find the Thrustmaster Grand Prix 1, it's a great wheel at a low
price. As for a good 3D card, I would get a Monster (the original, not the
Monster II). I think they can be found in the $30 - $40 range. You might
want to check Ebay.

SLI?

No. You have to add a 2nd 8 megger. You can't mix sizes. You may want to
consider waiting until the first of April though, and get a new Voodoo 3.
They're going to retail starting at $129, and will be faster than V2 SLI,
and free up slots too, as they are AGP and serve as both a 2D and 3D
solution.

Thanks for all your answer, as for the my new system, I'll wait for the
Voodoo3. I'll put the Monster II in the old system and search for a
Thrustmaster I, although I doubt it's nicely priced in Holland since the
Sprint costs about $110.
