NASCAR 2---what the hell? Anybody seen this?

I was doing some testing at Sears Point...I made some adjustments, and
restarted in the pits.  As I sometimes do (I use a bad joystick), I waggled the
stick as I accelerated out...To my amazement, both tires began spewing smoke,
the engine began revving, and the stock car came out of the pits in a long,
smoky, sideways burnout!  I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing to the stick,
just kind of shaking it from side to side gently...but it works every time!  On
every track!  Has anybody else seen this?  It's neat as hell!

In Drag Racing it's called a burnout my friend.  Right now since it's
a little early the name they use in Nascar slips my mind. But yea,
everyone has seen it and loves it.

Papyrus has added wheel spin to N2.  If you press the gas button twice
it will spin the tires.  (kinda like a double click)

I love it for getting turned around after I make a hair-boned move
and spinout.

Here's the deal.  Papyrus put a wheel spin feature in NASCAR 2.  If you were
using a wheel, you would notice it simply by stepping on the throttle.
However, Papyrus felt that joystick users might not like the feature because
it makes the car hard to control.  So, if you are using a joystick, the
feature is not immediately active.  They did make a way to activate the
feature (which you obviously found!) but I can't remember exactly how you do
it.

When using a joystick, double-click the throttle to initiate wheel spin
when at a dead stop or very slow speeds.
