AMA update keeps failing

by Dave Henri » Tue, 26 Oct 1999 04:00:00

Tried to update the "demo" and it quits.  I get several files dloaded
and then an error message stops any further updating.
"unexpected file, update cancelled"
the file is some wierd named file that takes up the entire marimba
screen.  F6J----<more>
  any ideas?

Delete the update directory i.e. C:\games\motorsims\AMASuperbike\Update

Make sure you delete the directory not the file called update.ini.

We were experiencing some problems with marimba last week, It's fixed now.
But as a result your marimba cache located on that directory could be
confused.

Sorry for the inconvenience
