Earlier today, I was racing at Spa and slipstreamed past Clark into
Masta (yes, foolhardy I know, but I was desperate). Looking at the
replay afterwards (to see how much room I'd had - about one
nanometre), I noticed that I'd hit 208mph. I don't remember ever going
that fast before.

This was in the Eagle with a bog-standard setup, so I don't suppose
it's anywhere close to the record. Any advance on 208?

I've clocked 503mph although it was in mid-air and the result of a mad-
physics-induced crash :-)

hehe - whole 'nother ball game, but I got a Winston Cup stock car up
to about 22000mph at Milwaukee.....  had a helluva tour of the entire
facility too - concession stands, rest rooms, garage, somebody's back
40....

kewl - I don't remember how I managed it, either using the N2/Busch
Milwaukee track's .dat file with N99(3?) or maybe playing with the PIT
line in the .txt file, but when I "got in the car" I was INSIDE the
infield (on the wrong side of the wall the crew goes over) and could
drive around by the garage and the tents and stuff.... it was weird

all this talk about wild rides got me looking back at my old
replays... I put the best ones I have up for download here if anybody
wants em:  http://home.att.net/~jbwyatt/misc/av.html  I'll add some
more later.....
