To all you N2 experts, hope you can help us.

My brother and I have been playing N2 over  the modem for over a year
with no problem.  suddely overnight whoever initiates the call , his AI
are totally out of control spinning, weaving, very very erratic and
undriveble while the other is smooth.  when we change who is calling
then the problem is reversed.

we always connect at 14400 with .10 sec. latency and have been doing It
for over a year.  We have both reinstalled our games with no
modifications, still the same.

we are suspectig the phine lines, is that possible.

we wood appreciate any ideas on the matter as we are both getting
desperate.

B.T.W. it is a long distance line

It definetly sounds like phone problems.  If you call eachother
voice...do you here ANY static or noise on the line?  Have eather of you
moved your computers, installed a new component?  Have you in any way
moved your phone lines (from wall jack to machine) or any other
electrical wire near you rphone lines?  Just a couple thoughts...hope
they can help.  Maybe you can have the phone company check out your
lines.  Tell them you have problems with long faxes or something.  Most
phone companies aren't respnsive to game playing.  :)  Hope you get it
resolved!!
