You need to put "ras" at the front of your car file name.

You also MUST provide a normal-resolution file.  I can't do a screen
shot of your car for the roster page because it's a hi-res car, and a
lot of people don't have a stout enough system to support hi-res
cars.

Is that in the rules, I must have missed it.

Nooooooo.  Just make a lo-res version of the car for everyone else.
You can drive your hi-res version if you want, and if anyone wants
to, they can use your hi-res car too, but for general upload, you
just have to provide the lo-res version (and you can do it sometime
in the next week if you want to).

I'm not trying to be difficult or hassle you, but this stuff is all
posted on the rules page.  I don't personally think it's asking too
much...

done by someone else and I have ased them but haven't recieved one.

It's actually quite easy Mike. Go into the in-game paintshop -> export your
car file (yeah it's screwed up in there but it'll export just fine) -> exit
the game ->rename your current car file (important if you want to keep using
the 1024x1024 file on your system) -> resize the exported .tga or .bmp to
512x512 with your favorite paint program -> go back to the ingame
paintshop -> Create a new car file and put the exact same info as you had in
the original file -> import your resized .tga -> exit and send it to John or
however you guys do it. Delete the smaller file and rename the big one back
to the original name.
