I'd like to try something but to do it I need to pack and unpack GPL's dat
files. What program do I need?

how about pack and unpack?  Or Doodat, or.....there are many many utils out there to do it.  Check
out the gpl section at the US pits for all those apps.

Thanks wasn't sure if DoDAT worked with GPL. Its been along time since I
used it for N3. It seems like with every Papy release they tweak things just
a little to make you need something different.
