1) During Replay mode the dash display is blank. I can't even see how fast I
was going at any point during the replay.
2) The post race statistics does not show individual lap times. I can't see
how much faster or how much slower I was, in relation to the lap times of
the rest of the field.
3) Replay mode does not show the "Cockpit" views of the other vehicles.
An important part of the F1 Sim experience for me is watching the replay
after an exhausting race. F12001 comes up short in this department. The
original F12000 did not have any of the above deficiencies. Why did they
have to take those features away?
They also should have kept the individual driver lap times on one page. It'
s a pain in the ass comparing my lap times with my buddies, after we do some
hot laps on my PC. Again, F12000 was better. F1-2001 is by far a better Sim
than F1-2000; they just should have taken the time to finish the job. F12000
was a more complete game
I also hate the way the car spins-out, while coasting at 20 mph, 30 feet
after I have already saved the spin. My road car doesn't spin out at 20
mph; I thought an F1 car had twice the grip of a road car. The game should
be more forgiving. I've already lost time and speed saving the spin.
Spinning out while going 20 mph, without any lateral forces going through
the car does not seems realistic.
