MGPRS2 - Very First Impressions

OK, this is after only half an hour with MGPRS2, so please don't tell me
off!
1) Graphics look slightly better, especially as we now have 800x600 which is
a major step forward.
2) menus are basically the same, but load a lot faster as do the tracks
3) force feedback effects on a wheel are even better than they were with
1.09 of F1RS.
4) includes texture and sound editors - but the latter is in French!
(Ooops.)
5) frame rate feels more fluid than F1RS
6) sound is not much better, but a slight improvement. I can't get any 3D
sound on my SBLive! even though the setup shows 4 speakers.
7) the driving model seems better in places. Try going over some serious new
kerbs in Australia, but it's too early to tell.
8) the AI seems a lot better, but again a lot more testing is needed before
a reasonable opinion can be made here.
I'll post a more detailed opinion later.

How is the force feedback. Does the wheel give you feedback for handling
such as get lighter when the car understeers and heavier when at speed and
more downforce? Or does it just shake and jerk when you hit bumps in the
road or crash?

Lou,
the force feedback is very similar to F1RS later patches. It doesn't get
lighter or heavier with understeer or downforce, but some of the new effects
are pretty cool like the shaking in the pits when getting your tyres
changed, and a sharp jerk when changing gear.
