Which tracks do you want to convert, most tracks available for N4 is in
N2002 already and looks much better unless I'm mistaken....?

It's not a small task, I've only seen a few people who have managed to
convert a track from N4->N2002 without running into major Gfx problems
and random lockups when running more than a few AI cars

N4 -> N2002 conversion?

I kinda wanted to convert South Boston, I found it on the net a while
back...dunno it's origin (ie. made from scratch or converted)  But since I
don't have N3 to do the conversion myself i'd like to get it going if
possible.

In that case you'd still be in trouble, the only way guys like David
Noonan can get away with doing what they do is to release a "converter",
for which you must supply the original files needed for the conversion

Converting a track from one sim to another is quite a laborious task,
and then you have to write a program to do the conversion on the fly
while the end user provides the original files to avoid the wrath of
Papy's (or whoever) lawyers for copyright infringements

Some sites have in the past posted complete converted tracks, if that's
how you got your track, your best bet is to see if there's a readme
somewhere so you can trace it's origins and ask the original author if
he's planning to do a N2002 conversion, because if David Noonan or any
of the other guys who works on stuff like this was to release a
converter, you'd still need the original files

Prolly not the answer you were looking for.....
