www.gamecenter.com is reporting that GPL is due in store next Wednesday
Sept. 30.
Well....
That's what about every stores in the US has listed...
Since Sierra UK is saying it's out for October 8th.... a 9/30 release in
America would be normal.
I mean, it's just faster to get the copies from the Warehouse in America
than it is in the UK/rest of Europe/Australia/Asia. GPL is probably shipped
by boat across the Atlantic, so 1week before the first copies would be
seriously shipped here in NA...
I mean, for those Europe people thinking that a World-wide release is
possible, it's just that while waiting for the Europe package to arrive at
destination the US stores are just wasting time (I mean why wait if you can
already ship it).
(it's the same deal... the Star Wars Prequel will be delayed some days for
the people staying in North America, so if you are really a SW geek (hmm
like me hehe) plan your vacation trip to the US for the last week of May !)

You MAY be lucky to get it on the Thursday, but if GPL is released (cross
your fingers) on the 30th, then I'd book off Friday, October 2nd.

The release date for GPL in the UK is 09-10-98 (9th October), according to
the sales staff at Game. My copy's ordered, along with a friends. I see a
sicky coming along in the next couple of weeks :-).

I actually heard that it will be IN STORES on the 30th from my game
seller. Let's hope he is correct!!
