yes, and there is a such thing as too damn big!  I have a 120" screen and it
doesnt look to scale. I tried adujsting my projector to 70" (the lowest it
goes) and it still looked big.  I want a picture size that will  give me the
actual size, I think papy didnt make the  in car view very well, The tracks
look to scale at 120" but the***pit sure doesnt.  The***pit looks like
it takes up several lanes which makes me hit the wall all the time.  Does
anyone know what program I need to modify the***pit to make it more to
scale of real stock car?

Go here, to the GPLEA pages:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/

You can get different***pit views that are not only narrower, which
is what your looking for, but the view is from a slightly higher
point, which improves visability. They are available for all cars.
I'm using them all. The site is a little confusing so really probe
around.

I don't think anything there's going to help G make things look more like a
"real stock car."

Yes I often play GPL on my Video Projector ( sharp ), the screen is
1m45x1m10.
Fortunately the V.P. is on ceiling position so i don't see my head shadow
on the screen and
the screen is low enough so the driving position is the same that on my PC
monitor.
I really think it's improve the driving skill cause your IN the car :),
with FF wheel it's really great.
No what i need is a incurved screen :) ( joke ! ).
And a new appartament, the VP is only 2 meters far away of the screen and
zoom at max.For playing
it's wide enough but i want to have 2meter wide for movies , i use my VP
especially for home-theater.

Seb
