We have 60 MHZ Pentium, 8 MB Ram.  We are going to upgrade to 16 MB Ram.
I do not have any trouble running Nascar 1 with graphics now.  My
question:  Can Nascar 2 run on 60 MHZ Pentium and 16 MB Ram having all
graphics on?  Will it run slow or normal on 60 MHZ Pentium.  Is there
something else we should do in our upgrading to make Nascar 2 run good.
If you would like, you can E-Mail me.  Thank you.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you 'do not have any trouble
running Nascar 1 with graphics'.   I assume you mean in VGA, because on
your system SVGA would be a slideshow.  Even a P120 can't run SVGA
Nascar in full detail at what I would deem acceptable framerates.  By
acceptable I mean consistent 25fps or higher.

I would think your P60 should be able to run Nascar2 in lo-res with
most of the graphics on.  I'm afraid SVGA will just not be possible
without turning off most of the details.  The extra 8 megs of RAM
really will do little to increase frame rates.  What is really needed
is both a faster CPU and a better videocard.

Nascar2 will be Rendition Ready and will thus be accelerated on the new
Rendition Verite based 3D Accelerator cards.  These include
Intergraph's Reactor, Creative's 3D Blaster PCI, and Sierra's
Screamin'3D.
