by skellu » Fri, 03 Jan 2003 10:10:16

HI,
I would love to know if anyone is running a MS forcefeedback Pro joystick
(gameport or serial) version on WinXp pro which i use for IL2,my wheel is
MSffb USB which is not a problem.
Any help in this problem would be greatly appreciated,MS have washed there
hands of older joystick models(4yrs old) but this joystick cost a fair bit
and i'm loath to just dump it.
Thanks for reading

Den,

I hope I can be of some help but I don't know since I had no problems at
all. The gameport I am using is on my SB Live 5.1 card. Also in the
joystick control panel, I only have one device at any time. In other
words, if the wheel is in there and I am about to switch to the
joystick, I remove the wheel first then add the joystick. I have found
that this is much more reliable than having multiple devices listed
there. Have you tried that? Feel free to email me with any more
questions you have and I will do my best to help you out. My "real"
email address can be found at the webpage in my sig.
