Installed the newest drivers and bios for my 3D Blaster and now can
finally see what all the hoopla is about. Game runs smoothly on my box,
P-5 200, 64 meg, and Rendition card. Don't understand why the video
driver was causing calibration screen lock-ups but I guess that's what
was causing it. I only got to take about 8 laps before my presence was
requested elswhere, but what I saw was promising.
Now a question for Eric Busch. The reason that I did not run the newest
drivers and bios was that when I do, I cannot run Nascar2 in Win95. I
get a invalid page fault with NO addresss of the fault. The game will
run in Dos-Mode just fine so this is just an annoyance, not a major
problem. It is nice when painting a car to not have to drop to Dos to
see what it looks like in the game. Is there a fix or workaround for
this?
Can't wait to get home to see if I can actually complete a lap.
