GPaL Needs To Know...What Color's Your Helmet?

"What?!? What color's my helmet?", you're saying. Well, just wait, there's a
valid reason for asking the question...

With the arrival of GPaL, you'll be able to quickly and easily fine-tune the
AI for every driver, car, track, mode, and difficulty level combination. And
once you've established your AI settings for a particular scenario, GPaL
will always remember those settings and restore them whenever you select
that combination again.

GPaL, with its extensive AI control and many other features, will make GPL
easier for the novice and more challenging for the expert. And with the
daily arrival of more, and more powerful hardware, you'll want to add the
newly fine-tuned AI demons to your multiplayer grids. Why race with five
when you can race with 20, even if you don't have a huge pipe to the
Internet or you're one of the few nuts anxious to race at 3:30 a.m.?

So why the question?...

Well, as much sense as AI fields make, there's still one problem...We all
still want to know whether that guy just ahead in the Lotus is human. Or was
he born on another planet? Well, GPaL is going to fix that problem by
optionally providing the AI with a distinctive helmet color. Hence the
question.

We need to set a default AI helmet color that will conflict with as few GPL
racers as possible. So...Would you click here...
www.RaceLive.com/GPaL/survey001.htm and take our 6-question, 15-second
survey? Thanks! It'll make GPaL a better product for you! And while you're
at it, you may want to jump on our mailing list so that you'll be one of the
early arrivals at the download site in a few short days when GPaL is
released!

While you're there take a look at the new GPaL features at
www.RaceLive.com/GPaL/features.htm and the latest version of the GPaL screen
at www.RaceLive.com/GPaL/screenshot.htm. There's a boatload of new stuff
that I think you just might like!

Thanks to Anton Bowers for pointing out that the survey form was requiring
input in the *optional* name field!

If you went to the GPaL site and were a little put off by a survey that
required a name (as I might have been myself) then give it another try. The
form's been fixed. www.RaceLive.com/GPaL/survey001.htm

Thanks! Your input will help make GPaL a better product for you.

Glad to be of service.

I care deeply about the colour of my helmet.

Rick...

If I recall correctly, I think I've raced with you a couple of times at 3:30
a.m. EST (which, yes, makes me a nut) but that's 8:30 a.m. in the UK, and
you had been racing all night! So perhaps "nut" isn't adequate! :)

No, he's not that much of a nut, he'll have just finished working nights. 12
hour shifts.

Oh, ok he is a nut then :)
