Why "LINE OUT".... am i missing something here?

I suppose to use your home stereo for sound? I have a live with the 4speaker
plus subwoofer dedicated for sim use but serious audiophiles may use line out.

Line out signals are "cleaner, quieter" signals intended for speakers with a
seperate amplifier.  My Live! card has two line outs, front and rear.
My copy of GPL didn't come with a book "4 Wheel Drift", was that bundled
with your copy?  I missed out I guess.

The only difference between line-out and speaker-out is the impedance. A
wrong impedance could damage yor sound card or amplifyer. I never
experienced it though, but... better save than sorry.

Yes, very confusing how people refer to it as a book instead
of just saying "the instruction manual."

If they have their own power supply you should use the line-out. The
need for power indicates that there's an amplifier integrated in the
speakers and thus you should use the line-out.

The "4WD" book isn't the instriuction manual, but the s.c. "stategy guide
