All right Yanks, I've done just about all I can, short of
becoming a foreigner...I've lopped over 100 seconds off my
pathetic GPL times....leave IMOLA alone and get back to the
the standard tracks and lower that handicap

No shit!!
I am starting to think this whole Imola thing is a concpiracy to keep me
from improving my gplrank. I'm over it now, problem is though, the GP3
conpiracy starts next week!

Look up the "Mean Value Theorem".  The way GPL rank is set up,
only countries with a small number of entrants have a chance.  I think
he did this on purpose.  To be similar to a real international competition,
he should use either the best time per country per track, or an average
of the top 3 etc.

Best Wishes,
skp

<snip>

There's a poll on GPLRank right now asking what the minimum number of
competitors should be to allow a country into the main NAtions Cup
standings. And Finland and Germany do very well with lots of drivers
(hmmm... Huttu, Woeger...).

Minor correction. Huttu is a Finn. Notice they are one place up on Germany.

That's excatly what I said: Finland, Germany: Huttu, Woeger. I wasn't
trying to transfer Huttu to Germany!

Somehow I would imagine this poll is going to severely flawed in favour
of those nations with a large number of drivers.  I am expecting 10 to
be the prefered number by a country mile.  :)

Ah. Yes. Ahem. <tries, unsuccessfully, to hide embarrassment> I knew
that all along. It was just - a trick question. Yes. A trick question,
that's what it was. Definitely. Yes. <scarpers>
