So I go into EB, cash in hand for my reserved copy (none of the staff have
ever heard of it and have to consult the manual every time...) but to my
horror it's not there.  I've got to wait TWO MORE FRICKIN WEEKS!  This is
torture...

Well, if it's any consolation, I went to EB on this side of the pond to pick
up Rally Trophy, only to find that the shipping date has been pushed back
yet *again*. What's that now? Seven or eight delays? The latest promise is
sometime early next week - maybe. EB's American site showed it as shipped,
but no luck up here in the frozen north. Sigh. At this rate, you folks will
be playing RT2 before we see the first one over here.

I picked up RT at EB (Richmond, VA) a week ago, and saw it at CompUSA of all
places just this afternoon.  You don't say where you live, but if you have a
CompUSA nearby, you just might find a copy there.....

Why don't people who work in software stores(and software depts.) keep up with
these things?  I've asked about games before(BIG games) that everyone's waiting
for.  All you get are blank looks...  I guess they're just working for the
money - they really don't have any interest in what they sell...<sigh>

Was that your representation of the 'blank looks' at the stores? :-)

Talked to the Norwegian distributor today, we're still scheduled for the
15th here, FWIW....Scandinavian releases are often tied together with UK
release
