Chat in multiplayer while in OpenGL

I've noticed I don't have my autochats or using the "t" key to type
something doesn't work either.  I'm running in OpenGL - is this normal
or do I have some "feature" enabled/disabled, and how do I get it
back?

Check that your driver chat screen isn't unchecked under user interface
options. Will_H#24
