Hi to the group,
My version of N2 seems to install ok, until during verifying
files, it says "failed verification on file -uvconfig.exe" I
have lots of disk space although the note says I may not have.
Anyone have any ideas? Tried to call Sierra, the voice mail
claims 30 min or more wait time! BTW, the install then barfs,
and none of the programs want to run.....thanks, paul
Suggestion : Make sure that your PIO setting in the system bios does not
exceed your IDE disk - assuming you are using an IDE disk. Try reducing
this to PIO3 or STANDARD if such a setting exists. I have seen problems
with corrupt files if this setting is too high. You may also try reducing
other IDE settings to minimal - no block transfer - 32-bit io disabled etc.
Also, you may try the same for your CD-ROM assuming it is IDE.
More information on your system etc. would be helpful on such a port. You
give those that may be able to help no useful information to go on - since
we do not know what kind of computer, disk, video etc. that you are using.
