Check out the movies section. The crash of Lauda in '76 at the Ring,
in-car shot of schumacher driving into the wall at Silverstone, it's
all there.

It's not meant to be entertaining I think. I believe it's more educational.
So you can see what happened to Niki Lauda in case you had never seen it for
yourself. Not just to see someone get hurt..

Anyways, the site has lots of movies of f1 history over the last 30
years. One of the worst moments of f1 history was the crash of Lauda
at the Ring in 76. We've had long discussions here about where he
exactly crashed on the ring, how it happened, if he was rammed by
another car during the accident, etc. People got their f1 history
books from the shelves to look up info about this.
And here it is: a short movie where you can exactly see how it
happened. This is not entertaining, this is history. A crash that
realizes us, even if it is for a short moment, what dangers are
involved in grand prix racing, and what risks the drivers were and are
taking. And perhaps even makes us wonder why they do that.

There is some great history in those clips.
Check out the 1979 Villenuve/Arnoux battle. It's hard to see in the little
MPEG but I've seen this clip on videotape and they're banging wheels for
most of a lap without wrecking. Pure driving skill in action.
Lots of great Schumi/Hill battles... remember when Hill was competitive?
Also, look at 1994 for Jos Verstappen's pit fire. The mechanics had altered
the fuel nozzle (the [then new] aircraft style ones) for increased flow and
it sticks open -- soaking the car in gas. There's a horrifying second as no
one quite knows what to do then the fire starts. Jos escaped with a minor
neck burn.

Massively off topic but - the mechanics had altered the fuel system to
remove a filter because they already filtered the fuel before putting it
into the pump and the alteration had been approved by the company making
the fuel pumps. It is also highly debatable whether this alteration was
in any way related to the fuel spill and fire.
(It's one of those things that come up regularly in F1 circles
"Oooh... Benetton cheated by fiddling with the fuel pump and that
caused a fire" - it's simply untrue).
