No, drinking ultimately impairs your driving. What you must seek to do is
achieve the same relaxed, easy state when driving. Let it flow. Smooth is
fast, even when you're sober.

Personally, I find more consistency after 3 or 4 bourbons.
After 8 or 10 bourbons, I start finding myself*** out of trees.
Especially those Big ones on the Back straight, France,Gpl.

ive set PB's drunk, and i dont mean some slow old laps either...53.30 at
rouen after a few beers, helps relax me sometimes to an extent i can never
achieve normally while driving on the limit...

That is correct of course. I also think that this may show
that a drunk driver doesn't realize the problem right away
because their reflexes may be improved for some minutes
on the road and then only get in trouble when the effects
kick in and that catches them out. Most of the U.S. "Don't
Drink and Drive" campaigns do not address this circumstance
directly. Maybe they should.

Stroke of luck, I guess. *** makes you react slower. That might have
made you take Masta Kink slightly different, carrying more speed through.

If you beat your own PB at the mighty Ring while being drunk..... well,
that's an achievement.

enough to dull the nerves but not the senses can gain you time....this is
only really relevant when your pushing yourself to the absolute limit and
you suffer from nerves...

If it increases success in getting idiot drunk drivers off the road, I'd
support it.

I thought id be a better driver on the street after a few drinks, so when i
was driving to a mates place after 2 drinks, went around a roundabout that
ive been around 1million times, got sideways and couldnt catch it fast
enough because it took me so long to think about it, mounted the traffic
island and went onto the wrong side of the road where i over-corrected and
spun, so now if im drunk i dont drive like a fool :) Allthough a bit of weed
can equate to some quick lap times, dont know about other *** tho,
interesting what speed would be like.

Glad to see the millions spent on drink driving campaigns have got the message
across...

It's probably best to get smashed the night before you drive(or go for
a pb).  Part of the reason alchohol damages your brain is the
overactivity it causes your nerve cells(an alchoholic's nerves end up
just 'burning out'), so playing the day after a binge gives you
hightened senses without the dulling effects of being drunk.  I also
know a few Mensian's who report higher iq scores in the days after a
big drinking binge.
