family of video accelerator products, specifically their model
"3400", or whatever they call it. I got a bunch of faxes from them
about it, but it never mentioned 3-D support. I saw another one of
their products, the "Edge 3-D". I called them, though, and they
told me that my computer (Pentium 100, 16MB) would not benefit in
any way from this card, as it was meant only to raise a 486 to the
graphics level that I currently enjoy. I was just wondering if
this "3400" (brother to the 3200, but with 4 instead of 2MB VRAM)
was basically the same, or a completely different product. Also,
I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with a Pentium and
one of these cards, and their resulting performance gains (if any).
Thank you. By the way, I'd like to thank Rick Genter. Even
though I've never personally addressed you (as far as questions),
it's really nice that someone with a busy schedule like yourself
would take the time to be harassed by people that have hammered
their keyboards to the point that their shift key is stuck.
Thanks, all.
P.S.:Rusty Who?
