everywhere...and everytime...i'm talking about the post-patch version as
well...i am an experience sim-racer and know about threshold braking w/o
locking up and smoothly applying the throttle exiting corners...it's weird, i
could turn 1:05 laps at Laguna Seca before and now I'm around 1:09 or 1:10
without changing ANYthing

Loren

Well if you are on rookie, you get more grip then on say pro or
intermediate.  On rookie I can do real low times at laguna but when you go
to pro, it makes the grip less so times are higher.

What setting are you on rookie, intem. or pro.  In pro the brakes are
really horrid I usually dont even use em i just use the motor to slow the
car down, or do all my braking straight aiming to the apex while doing it.
on the other setting I do use the antilock brakes since they still lock but
you can brake and turn in at same time.

it does a bit but not too much on pro it mostly gets rid of banging curbs
and getting a wheel of, andthe brakes really suck on pro. At Elkart I only
loose a second due to being more careful in my driving.

I don't remember all the details like that since last time I played was many
months ago hehe.

oh yeah...no aids are on!  it seems like how you arrange the order of races in
the season in the drivers.txt file affects how much grip a track has.

Well with the time I spent racing at the zone, I was using rookie a lot
since everyone else did.  And if you spent all day getting you ***waxed
driving on pro you would change too.

I believe the CPR patch does seriously reduce the amount of grip universally
(at all tracks).  Correct me if I wrong, anyone.
