question this week was "What's the difference between mechanical grip and aero
grip?" I'm listening to the set(I was in another room at the time). I
expected to hear something like
"Mechanical grip is the grip produced by the tires and suspension interacting
with the track, and aero grip is the downforce produced by the airflow over the
bodywork(or wings)."
Instead, he talks about Sam Hornish using mechanical grip on an aero grip track
to gain an advantage in another race.
WTF?!? That was the STUPIDEST answer in the world at that point... So tell
me, were there graphics on-screen that explained the difference for viewers
with less racing knowledge? If not, that was just a total waste of air time...
