the simple fact that it's almost impossible for me to drive :-). Let's
face it: there's a reason why most F1 drivers are in their 20's as
opposed to their 50's. The quickness of reactions and situational
awareness that is required is very, very high. Driving F1 2000 reminds
me of playing one of those ridiculously speeded up arcade racers,
except that these aren't arcade physics -- it really does feel like
this to get around these circuits in the times that are really being
turned by the top drivers. I can complete my best-ever semi-out-of-
control lap and I'm still seconds behind the other drivers even at the
70% skill level. This is also what puts me in awe of the real
Shumachers and Hakkinens as they complete perfect lap after perfect lap
for an hour and a half!
I'm much better off sticking to my F2 cars in GPL. Much slower and more
predictable, and also the circuits do not have all those damned
chicanes that you have to slam on the brakes for. A lot easier to be
smooth!
