Julian,
Any tips on Asus-t2p4(rev 3.0), icr2-3d/renddma, Intense3D? I'll try
to be brief:
- recently installed an Intense3D
- running from dos shortcut or bootdisk
- running a Cyrix p166+
- installed indycar.exe from Intergraph (patch for cyrix). BTW, it was
same filesize/date as their cd-rom, but I installed anyway.
- indysafe runs fine
- indyfast starts dos4gw and screen blanks/hangs
  - indycar.dmp: "dos/4gw professional error(2001): exception 06h invalid
                 opcode at <addr>" etc
- dmatest also fails with "exception 06h" similiar to above
- dmadiag also blanks screen/hangs (also loses sync to monitor)
- installed Integraph Beta BIOS for Intense3D

- Nascar2
  - nasrend will run
  - renddma will run, HOWEVER, fps doesnt seem any different that nasrend
  - sounds like N2 isnt running in DMA mode to me, but runs.

- I "thought" I have seen old posts about people running fine with Cyrix
  and icr2-3d/n2 in DMA mode.

- any ideas on the t2p4 (bios changes needed, etc)?
- my guess, the Cyrix chip, any suggestions?

Thanks...Chuck

AFAIK no one has gotten ICR2 to run in DMA mode on a non-Intel chip.
