     Compaq has an ad running on ESPN, with some overhead (stylized)
views of
the various F1 tracks.  They have this little ball of light (ostensibly
representing a
car) running around the track.  The funny thing is that it is going
BACKWARDS
(counter-clockwise), when F1 races (unlike the North American series) go

clockwise.  Just thought that I'd mention that.
    Oh to stay on topic: would some tracks be faster if you ran them the
other way?
(or slower...)

Um, perhaps it was Imola or Interlagos, both of which are run
counter clockwise in F1...
