Just reading through this month's Motor Sport magazine, in the editor's
column there is a small piece on next month's issue. Apparently it will
include a CD of racing car sound recordings, including the GPL-era BRM
V16 (and probably loads of other '60s cars too)...

Well spotted Graeme. I suspect that this CD may be a re-hash of the one that
came with the Nick Mason book, (what was it called......?), judging from the
list of cars mentioned. By the way, a V16 BRM is from the 1951-52 era, H16
from '67. The sound is very, very, very, different!!!
