Yes, Road Rash *is* out there. I saw it at Software Etc., Electronics
Boutique, and bought it at Sam's Club for $39.99 U.S.
Road rash is Windows 95 native, so it won't run in DOS, it requires a
P5-75 or better, 25MB HD space, 16MB RAM, Direct Draw compatible SVGA
Card with 1MB RAM, 2X CDROM, and a 16-Bit sound card.
For Multiplayer:
IPX or TCP/IP compatible network for 2-8 players, 28,800 bps or faster.
I took this straight off the box.
For everything to work smoothly, EA recommends that you disable Dial-Up
Networking. The intro video hitched and sputtered (game play was fine
though) with D_U Networking enabled, on my P5-200 w/ 8X CD and 32MB RAM.
I've played it only a few times, but it seems an awful lot like the
Genesis cart I also own.
BTW, I'm having much more fun with NHL '97 - THIS GAME ROCKS!
