BTW - They're only $700 if you get them fully loaded.  If you're
comfortable with taking things apart and soldering, you can purchase a
basic model and upgrade it yourself.

I just tried it again & it worked fine.  Maybe your ISP is having DNS
hiccups?

"TSW"?????

I am looking for anyone who can help me get my Thrustmaster NASCAR Pro wheel
up and working. First of all, the computer has stopped acknowledging that
there is even a wheel plugged in. It used to at least do that. The few times
that part works, I could not properly finish the callibration. I'd get to
the part where you're supposed to turn the wheel left and right, but before
I could finish doing that the program would skip to the end of the
callibration process. Any ideas???

Thanks,

Chris

I am assuming this is all via Win9x.  First make sure you have ProPanel
installed <ftp://208.129.210.78/pub/library/calibration/propanelv11.exe>.

Removed all devices installed via ProPanel.  If you have a regular
joystick, try hooking it up and selecting a standard joystick via
ProPanel.  If this is recognized, removed the joystick from ProPanel and
try installing the NASCAR Pro.  If it is recognized, but you have the
same problem when you turn the wheel, it sounds as if you may have a
short in one of the button wires (which is telling the calibrartion
routine that you are pushing a button and are done with this step of the
process).

If the above doesn't work run TMScope (can be gotten at the above URL
(minus the "propanelv11.exe") in a DOS window.  Does TMScope see your
wheel and pedals properly?  If not there maybe a problem with your game
controller.  Try setting the switch on the pedals to the middle position
position and hook a joystick up to the cable where you usually attach
the wheel.  Is this recognized in ProPanel or TMScope.  If so, it would
appear to be something in the wiring of the wheel unit.  If it isn't
recognized by Win9x, something maybe configured wrong with your game
controller/soundcard.
