Hey guys,
I usually just read messages here but tonight I am posting. A fellow sim
racer is trying to get a real ride in the Craftsman Truck Series and needs
your help. Preston Tutt got a chance to race for Bobby Hamilton Racing
earlier this year at Chicago. A transmission failed coming to the green flag
and Preston never really got to show his stuff. Dodge is trying to decide
between putting Preston in the truck next year, or let Bill Lester get the
ride. Preston has been pc racing on N3 and N4 and is a very accomplished
driver in several "real" racing divisions. If you would like to help by
adding your name to this petition please follow this URL.

I want a "regular Joe" to  make it in motorsports as bad as the next guy,
but soliciting us to sign a petition and email Chrysler about a guy that
likely none of knows, or have ever seen race just because you tug our heart
strings by saying he races our beloved sims is insane.

Doing this would only make folks laugh at us more for driving our sims, call
us "wannabes" and continue to snubb their noses at us. You want this guy to
land a NASCAR ride? Help him with his racing resume, leave the spam out of
the group here please. Besides, do you think a multibillion $$ firm like
Daimler-Chrysler is going to actually consider some online petition when
selecting a driver? If you do you need to go back into the back room and
climb back onto whatever pipe it was that you just put down. While you're at
it, why don't you start a petition to get them to woo Shumy away from
Ferrari and retire Mika...

All seriousness aside, why don't you go to Jayski's and lay this on him. I
hear he has info on a "Driver Consultant" firm that helps wannabe's find
rides within the racing series here in the states. Driver's without serious
resumes need not apply.
