Hi,

When doing some Nascar modem racing, who should call whom? I have a 486/66
and the other system is a Pentium 100. Should the slower PC dialup
the faster PC or should the faster PC dial up the slower one?
Tankz in advance!

The fastest machine should answer, because the one that answers is
actually the one controlling the sim.

Some will proably disagree, but my dad has a 486 SX/33 and
I have a Pentium 60. I have seen no difference in the performance
of my computer nor has my dad on his, when I call him or he calls
     me.

The Dialer should be the slower 'puter, says in the manual.

The "answering" computer has to do more work.

I can't remember where, but I've read the faster machine should play host.
We've also found it works better this way.  So, no matter where I read it, it
seems to be true.  Sorry, the calls will be on your bill. ; )
