want to congratulate Tim Doyle "TDRacin" for winning the Flashpoint Series
2000/1 Winter Season. In his 7 races he grabbed 3 Wins, 1 Pole, 4 Top 5s and
6 Top 10s. As a matter of fact, he would have grabbed 6 tops 5s and 7 top
10s had he not gotten the boot! lol. Also want to say great job to Troy
Worrick "T_Worrick" for 2nd place and especially to MR.CONSISTANCY... Joe
Penland Jr. "HammerHead_" for his 3rd place finish. Why do I call him
MR.CONSISTANCY? Season 1, he finished 2nd place, season 2 he wins the
championship and winter season he grabbed 3rd. That is awesome for 3 seasons
of racing. Especially with the group of drivers we have in our league and
having 5 different winners in the A Main in only 7 races. I will be ordering
the Nascar4 games now for the top 3 and go down to Champion Awards on Monday
to order the plaques.
I also want to congratulate the following drivers and teams below for a
great race 7. I also want to thank all the drivers in Flashpoint Racing
Series for an awesome season from the top driver down to the 85th driver.
Without your dedication to the sport and with Flashpoint, we would not be
where we are today. I also want to thank Jeff Causey of Frogdog Racing,
Kenny Leak, Bruce Moody and Glenn Scott of RacersDomain, Kevin Fettig with
rs-IORL, and Shannon Whitmore, Perry Lawless and Tim McArthur with rs-C-Flag
servers. If it wasn't for these guys helping me out with the servers, we
wouldn't have a place to race. It's with these guys, that Flashpoint Racing
Series has never had 1 single rainout since we started our first race on
02/27/00, that's a total of 102 races with A, B and C Mains. My hats off to
you!
Now with Nascar3 soon to be uninstalled from my hard drive<grin> off to
Nascar4! We will continue to thrive and set off with a new sim and a new
season. We will start off with our Iron Man Series on Feb 19th for 24
consecutive days of racing then off to the 2001 season by end of March.
