Yes I know the last demo was only a week ago, but hey, I've been busy
:-)

Controller support is in but you need to hand configure your
controller, please read the setupController.txt file, it should be
fairly straight forward to figure out.

You can grab the new demo from

http://www.racesimcentral.net/

I have still not yet implemented relaxation lengths for the tires and
hence the wheels rotate when at low speeds.

The keyboard configuration can be changed (with the help of the
calibration screen) so people with non-QWERTY keyboards should have an
easier time, let me know if you still have trouble ...

Enjoy,

Hi Colin,

Congratulation! Very good work for a 0.13 version.
I my opinion, it's better than racer's 0.49
It would be fine to have a higher resolution.

Greetings and keep on your excellent work,

Uli

Do you model your springs as if the wheels have no weight, or do you
integrate the wheel's vertical velocity over time?
In your first demo release (skyline) I thought that the suspension
felt very good. Are you using the same techniques now (celicas) but
with diffrent suspension settings?

Ahhhh, now that would be telling :-) Let me just say that my
suspension is a little more analytical than usual ...

Same technique, different settings ... In 0.13 there is much more
compression damping and the springs are about 10cm shorter, spring
rates are about the same, if you want you can open the file
dataDir/carModel/carSetup.ini and have a play around with the settings
...
