X-Car on 300 mHz

I have a new gateway computer 300 mhz, and I tried to install X-Car on it. It
installed fine, ran the sound setup fine, but the game wont run at all. Anyone
have similar problems.

The game actually starts to run loads textures, and cars or something, then
returns me to my desktop from the dos prompt
