Please help this racing enthusiast out... Need to know...
DirectX 6.0 as shipped with Viper Racing(Sierra Sports) is it safe to
install??? I have read many nightmares with DirectX 6.0 and I am
somewhat sceptical.
If you had problems with it were  you able to  rectify the problems
without causing more problems.???

DirectX 6.0 PLEASE HELP

I have upgraded to DirectX 6 that came with Viper Racing and have had no
problems at all. I had 5.2 installed previously. All my other games, NFS II SE,
NFS III, Nascar99, GPL, Monster Truck Madness 2, and MotoRacer all still work
just fine.


and CL Voodoo 2 12meg.

DirectX 6.0 PLEASE HELP

I d/l dx6 from microsoft and it has been flawless for months. I'm not
sure about the version inc. with viper. Get it from ms, it's free.
