More PCX help. I hate to sound like an idiot.

I put out a message yesterday about loading my pcx in the game. Well the
problem is I get them in 16m colors and then it goes to 256 in the game.
Well some one e-mailed me and said to get Paint Shop Pro. I did and now I
have no idea as to what to do. I read the Readme and I sort of understand
it but any other clarifacation would be appreciated.
