This is intentional. If you enter a closed pit in real Winston Cup,
you're ordered to the back of the longest line upon exiting.

It's a feature; the penalty for entering closed pits is to go the back
of the longest line. (Since there are only single file restarts in N2,
the longest line is easy to determine... :) )

Me and my bro EACH have N2 and we have a prob which may be related to
this. In modem play ,once in a while we will get caught entering the
pits just as a yellow flag flies. Whoever does this then, upon a green
flag, gets towed back to the pits for no reason and it goes yellow right
after green. It keeps doing this as it turns green, over and over till
we quit. Neither of us have installed any of the patches yet. Seems like
the offender has to go to the back of the line to avoid this but the
spotter doesn't say so, and we haven't tried this yet. Any thoughts on
this. Really ruins a good race.
