It would seem that the rain in GP3 is modelled
in the tires, and not on the track itself.Take a spin in
the dry with the monsoon tires and tell me
what you think.

I must agree with you about 80% of the truth.  Cause first, monsoon tires
need big as hell grooves for heavy rain, so that would use lots of flex and
allow a lot les power and grip to be applied.  Also means a lot faster wear.
Though, do the oppisite, run dry soft tires in the rain, rain in which the
track is teh socked shiny color, and not medium dry.  You'll notice slip
grip, but you can run just about as fast as monsoon tires.  I though you
weren't suppose to get anywhere without grooves and rain.  Definitely a bug
to be fixed in the rumor of a quick patch to see.  Though, once again, I do
not know how the dry tire is modeled in f1/gp racing, so i can be wrong.

You can get up off the floor
I know that the mudders are not your best option
in a REAL F1 car, but I'm talking about the game
I graphed a couple of laps at Budapest, 136.459 in the
rain and a 136.430 in the dry with the mudders on.
Looked pretty well the same.
Mabey GG could shed some light on this........ha

Intermediates wouldn't work in the dry, not to mind monsoons.

I haven't tried grooves in wet yet, but in a very wet qualifyingsession in
Australia, I was able to drive relativily reliably on monsoon tires, but I
spun an slid around on ordinary wets. So, I guess it would be a total
disaster on dry grooves.
